Okay, So this tutorial will teach you how to cut out a sitemodel when you make a preppy sign. PLEASE NOTE: This is just the "cutting out" part. the vector and text are separate tutorials.

First, open your photo in photoshop.

Next, use either the Image and video hosting by TinyPic(polygon lasso tool) or the Image and video hosting by TinyPic(pen tool)

I personally use the pen tool. If your using the pen tool then once you have your sitemodel outlined, right click and click on make selection, a box like this will pop up

You should now have a seletion and see dancing lines around the model like this: Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Now, go to edit>copy.

Next, make a new layer on top of your original layer, then delete your original layer

Now all you should have is a transparent layer, go to edit>paste & that's all
